A radiant ode to Southern femininity, the Rosélia de Calisson ring blossoms at the crossroads of floral elegance and Provençal delicacy. Inspired by the lush peony in full bloom and the soft curves of the calisson—a traditional confection from Aix-en-Provence, beloved by the painter Paul Cézanne—this creation reflects the poetic soul of the South of France.
Designed by Karima Raynal for Maison Raynal, the ring is sculpted in 18k yellow gold and features an open setting. On one side, a voluminous peony flower unfolds in pink sapphire pavé, with each stone carefully chosen for its velvety brilliance and harmonious hue. Facing it, a marquise-shaped leaf, exquisitely pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds, adds a luminous counterpoint—like sunlight catching the morning dew.
The delicate balance between pink sapphires and white diamonds offers a refined contrast between warmth and radiance, softness and structure. Inside the band, the discreet RAYNAL engraving confirms the jewel’s provenance within a house guided by tradition and excellence.
As a centrepiece of the Pivoine/Calisson collection, the Rosélia de Calisson ring invites you to wear a poetic fragment of Provence—where jewellery meets the flavours, flowers, and timeless charm of an artist’s land, lovingly curated by Karima Raynal.
